I am still figuring out what is going on; nonetheless, I am really liking this one. Reads like poetry: excerpts of the mind; honest, brutal and compelling.

I really really like this book. Considering the stories were originally published between 1889 and 1905, the writing feels extremely modern.

I found a ‘.’, and I assume that was a mistake… as opposed to a creative decision

I went from reading one book that ended with a baby being born, and on to this book which starts with a baby being born. Other stuff happens in these books… apparently.

I WANT TO THROW UP 🤮

Kinda unsettling, but equally very well written… made me a little queasy though, I will be honest.

I thought this was going to be happy (looking at that frog)… it isn’t (I should’ve looked at the title)
