Damn, I can’t believe it’s been six months and I still haven’t finished it. Time to get to work.

It’s boring and kinda messy, especially since I already know the end. I’ll stick around for the bonus Cohen content. Wish I could be passionate about the other things, because rn this book is like being on a dreadful roadtrip with your friend’s friends, doing boring activities in hot weather, and you can’t even recognise anyone because you have prosopagnosia.

I’m legitimately struggling here. The topic of this book should be right up my alley, but it just put me into a reading slump.

It isn’t interesting at all, and I feel no incentive to continue reading. Plus, there is some dumbass insta love. Aeugh.

The horror and gothic atmosphere are really good, but, just like in DLTFI, I can’t help but wish this was historical. It’d fit so well into, I dunno, the 19th century, and instead I keep getting jumpscared by modern things.

It’s exactly what I wanted The Secret Garden to be... but the purple prose is trying too hard. Weird, cause I liked the way DLTFI was written.

I’m trying, I really am, but I’m just too busy lately, aeugh
