I absolutely loved this book, written in English and Scots. It is a slow burn romance filled humour and heart. The style is witty and charming, and you care and root for the characters from the get go.
There is laughter, longing, love and tears, as Isla and Paisley navigate towards one another.
The dual point of view and pacing deliver a very satisfying denouement. I can’t wait to read book two!
