So much rambling… having a hard time staying awake when reading.

This book is so bad. Listening to audio at this point.

Losing interest in the story. Very basic, bland, and generic. If I didn’t like Critical Role I probably would have DNF’d but I enjoy the twins.

Starting to be somewhat of a slog. Looking at the authors previous work I’m surprised they went with a piss poor writer, which explains things currently.

Not impressed so far… hopefully it gets better.

Cannot stand this detective, what a jerk.

So the characters are in their mid twenties and still act 16. Then the lies of being overweight is “classist and racist” which have been disproven and makes it seem like POC are “naturally” fat. Then of course every guy pines over Ethel while everyone else is forgotten about. Seems like this is the authors personal dream.
