I love how every character seems like a suspect when you read Freida.

Odysseus really made a muck of everything. He made everyone’s lives harder. Why did all these characters have such pride?

I respect how honest Telemachus is. He is able to form his own conclusions and opinions about matters, as well as express them easily. Something we can all learn from.
Penelope and Circe have a weird power struggle going on. Yikes

I have had such a limited idea of witches my whole life. Reading about Circe, and just having seen Hamnet, I feel I’ve really put witches in such a small box. They’re so much more. And they make for fierce mothers (in those two examples anyway).

I feel very strongly that PCOS describes my period journey to a T. This is seriously so enlightening. It clarifies everything. I don’t feel crazy anymore. Finally answers!

She makes it all so digestible. Her writing is just beautiful.

So far my favorite section has been the last few chapters with Odysseus. I think it helps that Circe finally knows herself and is comfortable in her own powers.

Circe is taking back control finally and I love that for her
