What do I read next guys

A bit disappointed this book isn’t as psychosexual as initially promised. Fuck do you mean if I tore out your throat could I taste my father on it? Where did that go? What is going on? Idk.

I honestly don’t even think I can explain what the fuck is going on really. Like I can but I can’t. It’s weird. there’s a lot of terms being said and yes I am reading the footnotes but this book is written as if it’s a memoir of the main character so there isn’t really a page just for terms or worldbuilding. Word vomit and I’m tired but this book kind of just expects me to know these things

So far I am enjoying this for what it is: stand alone fantasy with a side of gayness. Very pleasantly surprised that it’s extraordinarily dark in contrast to ye olde average queer fantasy often advertised on TikTok. not really playing any punches w the 1700s brutality.
