Nesta is as self destructive as they come. I can definitely see why some people absolutely hate on her but I honestly don’t think I’ll be one of those people. Her inner dialogue paints a clear picture as to why she’s made the decisions she’s made since the war. Hopefully, the other members of the Night Court will be able to help her find some inner peace.

So far this story is playing out beautifully. The set up for enemies to lovers wasn’t forced and the banter/arguments between the two main characters solidify their obvious dislike for each other. However, I believe there is a bit of a miscommunication trope going on at the moment and I don’t know how long it’s going to last. Seeing as it’s fueled the MMC hatred once more, it might not be resolved soon.

I’m enjoying the insight we get into their relationship and everything that it took for them to get to where they are now…which is hateville…population Damon and Winter.

Just...wow!

Story is building up and I love it! Still no use of contractions and it's a little annoying. There are also some, hand-to-forehead, word mistakes.

So far it's a really great story. The writing is good and the plot is also great. The only this that keeps bothering me is that the author didn't use contractions consistently so it made the character's dialogue and thoughts a bit formal. Other than that I seriously doubt i'll be able to put it down.
