The first ten chapters are confusing - Lee deff gives you a lot of lore right upfront, while simultaneously throwing you into the scene. Reading this with friends has helped me feel less out of the loop, but I personally needed some assistance insuring that I understood what I was reading (listening to via audiobook).

It’s getting kinda repetitive, I get it you deliver the mail.

The audio book isn’t easy to listen too, it feels like the author is a bit… unaware of how to narrated the vocal inflection doesn’t pull me in, and the sentences carry the same cadence, every single time.

It makes it all blend together and not really let th mind separate what is happening x what’s more important than other parts

I’m going to not finish this one - it’s slow and repetitive and it hasn’t really hooked me in.

Great concept for sure, and could be the cultural difference, but it’s not something that kept my attention nor did I feel required to finish it for any other reason than to say I did.

If you’re starting this book and don’t find it thrilling, there are many reviews with the synopsis that will serve you well.

This is extremely slow and very repetitive for the first 1/5th of the book. Idk if it’s a cultural difference but like… I don’t need the rules explained several times. I get it. It’s before the coffee gets cold.

Deff a surprising few chapters, but as a classic novel a bit slow at times with the verbose explanations and descriptions of things.
