Was about to give up on this one. After reading such riveting books, the way that this one bounces from one generation of two families to the next was just frustrating me. Made it very hard to care about any of the characters in depth. Finally used the family tree in the front of the book to figure out who the latest characters are. Still not sold. Looking forward to finishing this and reading a much better book!
