intriguing

I love how nuanced these characters are

I like this, at first I thought the frequency of new chapters was jarring but I guess it’s understandable given the different perspectives we have to interact with

I like that Cass(catch) had an opportunity to speak her mind and give caroline the talking-to that she deserves

This author is talented and clearly knows how to tell a story

Not bad

I like this more than I thought I would, I think it’s my first time reading a book with an unlikeable main character

I do feel like the ending is a little rushed

It’s unfolding in ways I never could’ve imagined

good

Jamal is an incredible writer

I like how this story is unfolding though I’m not a big fan of how the author depicts women.

Really invested in this, but I just read the blurb again and saw Trump’s name and remembered that he’s likely going to impede the story later on

I’m loving this book

The layout of the pages is gonna take a bit of getting used to, although, I like the way the author writes

feel like i’ve already forgotten all of this.

not bad but difficult to keep in memory and i typically don’t read for very long so this book is an opportunity to change that

intriguing plot development, learning of Mellor, Sonia and Brenda’s relationship to the four main characters.
idk how this is gonna wrap up because there are too few pages left in the book

Going pretty good, it’s the night that Glenroy, Bullet, Curvis and Carlton leave and we just found out that Carlton’s mother wants to see him after 7 years although Carlton doesn’t want to see her. She used to leave him unattended for entire nights and that eventually lead to him being a Pinewood Oaks youth

relatively traumatising
