Chapter 2: The Systems of Thinking
System 1 controls quick, effortless, & intuitive decision making, meanwhile system 2 takes effort and reasoning.

These systems must be tuned to work in tandem with one another. Relying too heavily on one or the other can cause a person to miss cues for snap-decisions or react before thinking logically.

Chapter 1: Introduction to the science of forecasting. Is forecasting anything more than just "a dart-throwing chimpanzee"? How can we trust experts when their accuracy is rarely tracked?

Forecasting is a two-way road. Sometimes, it operates like a clock–reliable, easily understandable. Other times, like a cloud–unpredictable, and frequently changing.

Small occurrences can trigger effects felt world-wide.
