I don't usually like romance but this book promises to have a more mature, realistic view of dating and love. I was a little worried since several of the cover quotes called it "millennial" in one way or another, but so far it is not offensively so. Hoping it doesn't "Disappoint Me""!!!

At first I was a bit frustrated with the repeated exposition dumps that take the reader out of the present narrative, but now I've realized that the book is mostly these flashbacks/stories from the past interspersed with the present-tense narrative. I'm more okay with it now that I know to expect it.

not loving it or hating it so far
i do think short story collections need to have a point
and thats only coming through in maybe half the stories

i nearly cried reading the positive email reception from his friend to his coming out email.
