This book is an exposition snooze fest with no real thematic elements, it’s so hard to keep going.

It’s a lot more introspective than Annihilation, with a lot less action, it’s been pretty much interviews and mystery thriller vibe. It took about 180 pages of building before really diving into the weird stuff like what Jeff is known for writing. It’s good, but also a slog, but a slog I’m willing to get through cause I love this author.

God this book is boring
