I like Brown’s writing style but there was a bit more focus on Darrow’s adjustments to his change. I do enjoy seeing the bits and piece of humanity in each interaction despite what Darrow is going through thought.

I enjoyed Darrow proving Mickey wrong, I always love a good underdog story… But I don’t understand how he got the puzzle so fast. Yes Darrow is dexterous and a fast thinker but it’s realistically a puzzle he has NEVER seen before and wouldn’t know how it works, even if he was closely observing Mickey do it before…
