wow crazy how much of the Way That I Am is, according to this author, attributable to the way i was raised. pretty fucked up but i guess it makes sense that the first people you learn to relate with affects all future instances of relating. been skipping most the exercises but i liked the “true self” vs “role self” one. most venerable hypothesis, as man w funny mustache says…
