A streamlined version of Romero’s beloved film series, packaged neatly into one novel. It’s hefty and covers a lot of ground, yet cannot overcome that it was written in the pre-Covid era. Our world has shifted post-pandemic and so too has the way we fight off zombie infections in media. Written in 2016, maybe the time has come for a new and updated edition.
