This is so much fun to read already because of how close to home it is….I mean cmon….LSU, “I don’t wanna go back to that Podunk town”, girls getting married when they’re 19, the talk of crawfish, red beans and rice, and zydeco music, the author is literally from Shreveport. I have girls I graduated high school with already associated with Laura, Madison, Claire, and Gabby lol.

Unfortunately had to take a break from Sense and Sensibly because my brain cannot get into it after long days at school….so trying this for a lighter read. My mom gave this one to me, so I’m super excited to dive in!

It’s cracking me up that they’re talking about someone being “exceedingly ancient” at the age of 35…BUT coming from a 17 year old…I get it.

I’m this far into this book, and I really am not into it. Hopefully it gets better. We’ll see.
