Finally I think we have a story!
Perhaps she is going to the nut house - probs not but at least I’m now intrigued.

Still waiting for Bernadette to go where ever she is going!

Thank god we have reached the end of the first chapter which could have started on page 87 where the Microsoft husband emails a shrink about Bernadette.

Apart from that it was a long backstory to get here and the daughter relates in a style way beyond her years so there is some incongruence for me, despite her being bright.

So far it’s okay. Nothing amazing but bubbling along. Annoying that I’m 48 pages on and still in the first chapter! I much prefer shorter chapters. Character development play. The ten year old is kind of cool and the mum sounds like a Princess of sorts so far!

Started this week and enjoying the validation of my general approach to couples work.

A slow start in which trust had to build! I’m now quite fascinated by the story unfolding and the approach to writing. Sadly, the shower is calling!

Done and dusted phew. Excited to move to something else. It was okay but too long and I needed the Hoel chestnut to have the last day but alas the ending was not surprising and a little underwhelming!

Keen to finish this now.

Hard yards again with the activist stuff in the forest.

I am enjoying this book although it peaked for me just before we got into the activities stuff…but I’m persevering! Love all the characters. Feel like drawing their connections! Like a huge map of the book!

Bit boring so far.
