That was not what I was expecting.

Something crazy is about to happen in the last 57 pages

I have no idea where this story is going.

This book is so easy to want to read. The characters are intriguing and the plot is interesting, the only thing is I’m not sure where it can go from here, but I’m excited to figure it out.

I feel like something crazy is about to happen

I enjoy the fact that I don’t have to think too hard about this book. Everything is how it is.

I thought it was about to be a lot of sex for the last hundred pages, I’m very glad to say that it’s not.

This has been a good book and the way that the characters are written are realistic, I like that. The dynamics that they have with their partners is also realistic, even the fact that they seem drawn to each other after all these years, yet they can’t seem to find something stable.

The character dimension in this book is so well done. The growth or lack thereof the characters makes the story so much deeper than the shallow love stories of our generation.

I thought I knew where this book was going, I thought it was simple and predictable, and then on the last page I read, there was a curveball that changed the trajectory of the book. It reminds me of normal people in a way, the complexity of the relationships and the dynamics that influence it, but also it has its own story which makes it interesting too.

It’s so interesting how the individuals in this book are so drastically different, yet face the same challenges. Yes, they all have other struggles, but they are all attempting to find peace in something that is challenging to find peace in. Once again, they are being confronted with the contemplation of their actions which forced the question of: will you go on with the way you are living, or will you change?

Once again on the relationships in this book—they’re so beautifully written. The relationship between characters make you feel as if you are a part of their life viewing it from the outside, getting a look on both the complexity of it, but also the love and intention behind it.

Once there’s a deeper understanding of Jude and what he’s gone through, it’s almost as if you have a personal relationship with him wanting nothing but the absolute best. You hear about what he’s gone through and the struggle and heartache of it, truly just creating such a great sense of empathy.

The way that Jude copes with his past makes you question how the environment that we grew up in made us into the people we are today.

The axiom of equality and the way in which Jude relates to it made the narrative so much more emotional.

It’s so interesting how you hear about everyone’s life’s through so much detail. The connection between characters is so raw and emotional that it makes you think about your own, but not in a negative light at all.

“And then I went to college….” The most beautiful dialogue I’ve read in such a long time. This story is so beautifully written and makes me feel so deeply.

It’s a story that you don’t have to use your mind to read, everything is as it’s said, and it’s beautifully written. It’s starting slow, but it makes it a more personal narrative which is so interesting.

Starting a little slow, but I’m still invested in wherever it might go!
