It’s definitely like the Hunger Games except with Mexican-inspired fantasy: also, I love how this novel contains a lot of queer, Latinx representation as well as the descriptions of this world-setting is so bright, vibrant and colourful.

Hmmm… a mysterious manuscript that foretells the future of a real-life slasher: coincidence? Maybe. Guess we will have to further read into it to find out the truth.

After the first two chapters, it’s giving me a Percy Jackson meets the Hunger Games theme with a leading Latin American Trans character as the main protagonist: so far I am intrigued! Definitely look forward to further read more into Teo’s adventures.

Just telling Ramón how They Both Die At The End is such an easy-read as well as the pacing is fast: not complaining tho. It’s very engaging like I really wanna know what happens next as Mateo and Rufus continues on living their best lives during their final hours

It’s Jane Austen but with a sapphic twist. Also, I love how in this period there’s much diversity as well as same sex marriages, which is very interesting.

This story takes place eighteen months after the previous event, exploring “Site B” where dinosaurs were bred. Dr. Ian Malcom returns as the main protagonist, however, in the previous book he’s supposed to be “dead” at the end. Thankfully, it’s been revealed in the early chapters of this book is that he was dead for several minutes before he was revived on the surgical table.

Just after listening to the first few tracks, it’s very intriguing. Especially in regard to the world building around these characters and its gothic aesthetics. I’m also intrigued by the narrator for he has a distinguishing voice as well as his versatility with transitioning to multiple characters. Also he reminds me of the late John Hurt.
