I think he has some confirmation bias in his observations, and that they are coloured by his own mental health issues. I also think his takes on ADHD and dyslexia have aged like milk in light of modern research. Plenty of kids are diagnosed before they even have access to a screen and plenty of them prefer reading or daydreaming over screens so I hardly think one can make screens responsible for the disease

I don’t like the style of writing. I think he uses too many unnecessary allusions and over complicated language to make himself sound more sophisticated when by nature of his argument he should be making the work accessible to those not privileged to share his level of education.

Loved this book! At times quite graphic and shocking but very informative and I think important knowledge to understand US foreign policy today and the economic and political situation in central and South America as well as south east Asia. I recommend this book to everybody!!
