Overall I’m really liking this. It’s weird thinking about the book as I read it because the subject matter really should be boring but it isn’t. Van Goghs letters are either philosophical/religious lectures or random recaps of things in his life so on paper it shouldn’t be as engaging as it is, but the revelatory aspect of the writing makes it worthwhile and adds a through line via the progression ideas
