This might be a controversial opinion but honestly the worth of getting a hardback to me is only if it’s a super old book and you’re thrifting it. Old book smell might not even be worth it in this case… There are exceptions to the rule, obviously, but some people having 10 copies of the exact same book in different editions with nothing else at all added is egregious.
