I have counted 5 misuse for the phrase “no sooner than.” The author seems to exchange the word than for then, writing “no sooner then,” instead of “no sooner than.” I’m afraid she’ll have to pay for this sin dearly.

Unbelievably tedious prose; heaps upon heaps of telling and little showing. Bruh, I can't. Goddammit. Give me dialogues. Jesus, this is ridiculous

Writing is incredible. I feel like I could have written this. It’s so intimate and quiet and just perfectly beautiful.

Unbelievably saccharine sweet it’s almost annoying 😆 I also wish she would stop saying “uh” as an answer every time she’s asked a question! But I totally get it because I am that way, too, in front of my crush interspersed with “really?” 🤣

How in hell is she going to raise her baby? Chapter 6 and author still hasn’t discussed that bit. Also the lack reflection/introspection from the main characters, particularly their emotions, is bothering me. I find it hard to connect to the characters. I’m waiting If this part will improve.

I’m trying to like the girl. I can see passion finally emerging. But then she opens her mouth and says poorly thought out opinions regarding matters like divorce. She is too innocent for someone who gives lifestyle advice. At 30 you would think surely she has secret fantasies. I’m not sure I like her wholeness yet

For heaven’s sake. Yes, the hero is sad. Depressed. Suicidal. Grieving. I don’t think it needs to be repeated every other paragraph. Lord have mercy. How tedious this is. The prose and the dialogue do not come natural. Very wordy.

The prose is really boring me to tears. Ugh

HOOOOOOOOOOO KELLY BOWEN, WHERE UAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE???!!! This woman can write. This story is everything I’ve ever wanted in a romance book.

Ahhh this book is so intense in passion that it creates painful twists in my heart sometimes. Because it reminds me of what is missing in my life. Giving myself pace so I don’t get overwhelmed! Liking it so far, but it’s really too much. I’m jealous of what Faye and Chace have 😕

So Amy the 19-year old newlywed put a bottle of cheap perfume in Molly's drawer. Molly is pissed and proceeds to ask Kevin to give her a hickey above her collar bone. Because she believes the girl will stop pestering her about her sexual life if she has a hickey. How about just tell the girl off? Ridiculous ridiculous ridiculous
