The (autobiographical) essays are good but I simply don’t believe all these songs are “dad rock” - and I’ve only heard of like three of the songs so far so it is limiting my ability to enjoy the music part of the book.

Surviving an attack on your homeland while crushing on an unattainable man. I actually found the last chapter a but harrowing / too upsetting but overall it’s a page turner.

Forced proximity but make it endorsed by a therapist who - in supporting clemmie to take the job with her one night stand - is choosing chaos.

This book is deeeense

So far this is a very stressful read given it’s sort of sci-fi and sort of exactly like real life ai omnipresence.

This book is too long

Just when I was worried the witchcraft was metaphorical

🧙🏽‍♀️ 🧙 🪄 🔮 🥚 🤢

It’s been slow going but it just got good thank goodness

He loves celebrity memoir as much as me so this will be interesting.

So good.

Had to pause cos my Spotify free audiobook hours were up. Which feels unfair.

This book starts with such an unethical action around a book that I’m not sure how I’ll go

There is a lot more beating and abuse than I need. Ditto for homophobia. But, girl, I’m hooooooooked.

I love Bob and they’re so creative and gifted at drag and entertaining in general. But I’m on the fence about this book.

Madly googling highland Airbnbs. It’s hardly the point but now I want to live in a Scottish castle

Not enjoying this at all. I would have left the hotel by now. I also see the remainder of the plot so clearly I will be gobsmacked if I’ve gotten any of it wrong.

So far it’s quite different from the tv series! And it took me a while to just but now, from about 40% of the way, it’s cooking.

I’ve realised I just hate the main character - that’s the problem here.

I thought I would love this book. I anticipated it highly.

So far: meh.

You’ll never guess it but I’ve run out of audiobook time on spotlfy for the month so the next update could be some time away

Loving. It.

I’ve never been so invested in a man tying his shoelaces as I just was in the last scene I read where the main character - after abandoning his children for 4 years - is challenged by one of them to tie his shoelaces. Oddly gripping stuff.

I’m reading this but in English. Can’t find that listed anywhere tho!
