Quick progress update, I made a mistake. These books just got a tv show, and I knew the first 2 seasons split the first book in half so I figured it couldn’t hurt to watch. I absolutely hate the show though, I feel like it does not come close to the vibe and it really took the wind out of my sails for the story. I will not continue the show, just might need a brief break from the series as a whole :(

I technically read this book a few years ago BUT I grabbed a copy of the workbook and will be filling it out and trying to actually apply stuff from this book, so I’m counting it towards my reading goal for the year BITE ME

As an update I am hating this book. Completely kills all the momentum that had built up by giving every single chapter to nothing characters. The plot of this book is literally nothing, I can’t tell you a single thing that is happening. We just get 35 different perspectives of twiddling thumbs. This feels like a different book series, I’m actually so pissed off. MAJOR L

Okay, I’m starting to get why people despise the audiobooks for this series. Inexplicably, the narrator completely changed the voices of most characters in between the last book and this one. You might be thinking “oh well maybe it was a long time between books and they forgot”, nope! It’s hard enough keeping track of all the characters without them all sounding different halfway through the series! Major L
