Really good imagery but I must confess I’ve been listening to the audiobook while I move and unpack. Not to fear, I’ve been following along on my kindle and leaving notes. I’m enjoying it but the amount of teasing the reader with what Emma has done is insane. Emma better have done something so fucking terrible that it blows my socks off to make this read worth the while.

It’s cute, but I always find it weird how romance authors write their studs as overly protective bordering on fatherly. It’s just not attractive to me. I hope to read some protagonist personal growth
