Ahhhh heteromance. The ever unrelatable “I’m a mid life failure moving back to my home town to fall in love with someone from my childhood” plot. It’s cute, but I always find it weird how romance authors write their studs as overly protective bordering on fatherly. It’s just not attractive to me. I hope to read some protagonist personal growth
