I'm really loving this brand of sci fi. it's not "science fiction" in a classic, futuristic/detached/imaginative kind of way (although I love that too), it's very genuinely speculative science fiction, which is super fun. it reminds me why I decided to study science and why it excites me!

I've been hearing stuff about this manga for months but after seeing that there's going to be an anime adaptation AND they got the rights for a Nirvana song for the title sequence (and Dave Grohl approval???) I had to pull the trigger on buying it, 0 regrets it's so cute

this is a really fun one to audiobook for my commutes into work. I saw this twice in theaters but even though I know what happens I am really enjoying all the additional details in the book
