Next 3 were not fun at all.

The next trio had 2 interesting ones, and the last one (The Last Magician) was sadly the least enjoyable one by far.

First 3 down, only the final story “Season of the Soulless” was enjoyable to me.

Interesting, although I’m finding myself agreeing with the supposed antagonists a bit too much. It’s also a bit more preachier than I expected.

Good ideas, but a messy way to incorporate them.

Enjoyed the first two, not so much the other two.

The insta-love bs is the only terrible thing about it so far. Hopefully it remains in the background.

I need a cleanser so continuing with the full cast audiobooks in preparation for the series.

I read 19 chapters of the 26 in this book, and I still have no idea what the point of it is.

God what a heavy start filled with generational trauma.

This is so far, pretty interesting.

Almost a third of the way through and it’s so far just okay, I have no idea what is happening yet other than it being hallucinations, but meh we’ll see.

Not bad so far, but nowhere near as good as her Bat Eater book.
