The characters are a bit forgettable, especially the nobility, but overall, the world is really interesting.

Uehashi-sensei is a master.

Bored out of my head.

Again, fuck Alden. I swear if this doesn’t end badly for him it’s getting 1 star.

Part 2 was awful because of Alden and his bs. Fuck him and his secrets, hopefully a bloody and painful death awaits.

This started out somewhat boring, now that the discrepancies are showing up, it’s much more interesting.

So far, it’s better than I expected.

Bus Stop Baby was interesting, Fight Sounds was just terrible and Scrimmages’s ending somewhat ruins it.

Saint Dismas, Heart Sleeves and Caídas were all boring. With the former two having similar ideas and progressions.

Ofrendas was good, So Long to the Rearview was boring and Whistle While You Work had a stupid conclusion.

Fantastic so far

Not a fan of the concept of memoirs or autobiographies, but taking a shot for a challenge with this one. And so far, it’s actually pretty good.

Bored me to tears

Finished 4 chapters so far and it’s incredibly lukewarm at the moment.

Meh, I’m skimming too much to bother finishing at this point.

Honestly, it’s meh.

Up till now, this was boring. Let’s see now that her rage is taking over.

For some reason, it’s taking me a long time to read this.

I expected something a bit different, but it’s still very interesting.

Very satisfying so far.

Chapter 11 and while I enjoyed the anthropological note chapters immensely so far, I find my focus drifting off so much in the Genly or Estraven chapters that it’s hard to keep track of what is happening or who is who from the side characters that I’m not really enjoying it as much as the other chapters. Dropped.

I could not keep my attention on this one at all. It seems like an interesting world, but I drifted off more often than not and the audiobook’s Scottish accent was too much to get into as well.

The idea is interesting, and it’s very easy to read. But the motivation is so so weak, and the hopping aspect is so under explained that it’s making everything else seem like a plot convenience.

The romance or the pining more like, just ruins this one for me. Dropped.

In one word: awful.
