I need more books like that. What a perfect mix of politics and magical realism . I have never seen that before I think. Partition of India is indeed fascinating topic, many other events are there too and I even learn more about Quran from this book honestly .

That’s a book that keeps me interested from the first page even though I had to read a bit more to get used more to author’s style. Being in genre of magical realism , it bring up important political topic in history of India and makes me learn new things .

Must read кожного українця ! Приємний бонус- малюнки , які пояснюють важливі речі + вправи , які читач може виконувати самостійно в рамах власної деколонізації. Ця книга є чудовим вступом до цієї теми і мотивує досліджувати її далі.

Плакати мені захотілося з перших сторінок. Читається дуже швидко, але мені невідомо , як я не втопилася у власних сльозах до 100 сторінки. Плакати хотілося що сторінки майже. Мій внутрішній плач та крик не зупинявся ані на мить.

This book is not what I expected it to be at all! Still worth it though .
Reading in hope that by the end I will find out more about Rebecca even more .

It’s good I am reading epub or I would throw this book in a wall few times by that time already. It makes me feel so much. Tess is just a woman of her time , she couldn’t have thought any other way, I know…being Tess in 21 th century still sucks , so…Somehow there was a break for something positive in this book, but then of course the worst happened . I know it will not get better.

it’s actually really tragic to be a woman in Victorian era in England . Profoundly sad. Tess went through Victorian era society hell.
