Beth is starting A Guide to Inclusive Therapy: 26 Methods of Respectful, Resistance-Dissolving Therapy
Glad I picked this up used - so far a great follow-up to his earlier book I loved, GUIDE TO POSSIBILITY-LAND.

Beth is starting The Radiance Sutras: 112 Gateways to the Yoga of Wonder and Delight by Lorin Roche (August 18, 2014) Paperback
I'm still reading this one, as I've been taking time to reflect on the individual Sanskrit words offered and how they relate to the text, what the author terms "yukta." I plan to finish this book by the end of the year!

This is a book I'm reading at work when I have time...which probably means it will take me awhile to finish.

Still reading...trying to go through the words connected to the sutras one by one, which means I only do a few at a time.

Wow, A LOT happens in this book. It's attention-grabbing and interesting, but the dialogue feels so fake. I also find Leo's behavior as a teen to be pretty unbelievable.

Easy read. Good book for anyone wanting an intro to how they can impact their own brain chemistry and improve their mental health.

Not an enjoyable read so far. A still grieving older widow takes in her rebellious teenage granddaughter when her daughter (the teen's mother) goes to rehab. It's one emotionally wrought scene after another. That could make for a good novel, but mixed in with the more lighthearted book club scenes, it's not really working for me. Plus, the characters of both the grandmother and teen feel unrealistic to me.

Beth is starting Beyond Talk Therapy: Using Movement and Expressive Techniques in Clinical Practice
Didn't realize how old this book was when I ordered it (from 1999). Feels out of date, and refers to many interventions that don't apply to my 1:1 therapy work (e.g., couples therapy, family therapy). I'm mostly skimming but picking up a few helpful things here and there.

Really enjoying this! About 2/3 through already. Interesting how many different themes come up, including death, loss, incarceration, infidelity, animal behavior, forgiveness, and more.

This is my first book from Nora Roberts; so far read very much like a suspense/romance (although more towards the latter) by Tami Hoag.
