First Nora Roberts book. The audiobook is good so far and I like how the author is taking time to set up the main character's mental state following her injury as well as setting the scene. It's hard for our main character to sit still and it's also hard for us (or maybe just me) to be in these slow exposition moments instead of jumping into action. Not sure about the writing style as of right now but no large issues

I really hate the misunderstanding trope, but honestly I probably would have been dense enough to do exactly what Viola did that first time, so can't be too mad 😂 A few too many media references— that's not ALL game developers can talk about— but once again, I get it. This book was not particularly deep or developed character wise, but it was cute

They're so cute together but I see all the ways things can go wrong for them in the last part of the book 😂

I'm impressed at his ability to live his best life after hitting rock bottom AND hold a grudge at the same time

There's so much going on right now, but also not much is happening. I'm having more fun than I was having during the Franz POV stuff.
