Omg the lore! The character development!

It feels like a lot of things happened already, but actually not much happened

Amazed at how the author portrays her characters and their emotions. The rollercoaster of emotions I felt reading ch43-47 was insane

Why does no one in this book make good decisions? I love and hate it 😔

This was further down on my list of books to read, but I'm recovering from sinus infection (probably) and I need entertainment. I read the first one on 30 hours of no sleep and enjoyed it. I'm under similar conditions now so I should also enjoy this one! Let's gooo

This was a good ending to the series. Really liked Alexia as a character

The ideas in this book are really interesting and Alexia is really interesting as a character. I do love her character trope.

Why did I not know this book came out until now? Getting real Detroit: Become Human vibes right now. It's totally Carl and Markus 😂

The plot thickens!! There's a lot of information in this book right now. I'm enjoying learning, but it's so much! Also I miss GK.

NGL I kinda forgot what happened outside the major plotpoints near the end of book 1

I think all the jumping in this book is a lot. It's still readable, but it's rough because some of the scenes feel too long for what they are

This book has too many unnecessary characters. Like, it's nice to get more information about everyone's family dynamics, but the important parts are how the events make the character feel or any arguments that spring up from family meetings. The events themselves feel like they can be skipped and mulled over as thoughts.

Suddenly I'm getting "Happy Place" by Emily Henry vibes and idk how I feel about that

Missing Mu Qing and Feng Xin's small arguments and a lot of things leading up to the bridal sedan scene, but the art for that scene is so beautiful

This book is so good! There was some powerful messaging in this book and the twist was interesting (even though I guessed it early on). Proteus is such a fun character.

Every time I'm amazed that Proctor is just so cool
