I like the Executor. I like the hard push to force himself to learn magic to attempt to heal his own trauma with Wrecker. I also like the solution of switching to Jake to deal with the ghosts of Marc’s victims.

The art is this issue is outstanding. Moon Knight drawn in the astral realm looks so good. I can get behind the haunting of wrecker, but it really feels like Layla was just thrown into this on a whim or as a backdoor pilot for her own issue or something.

I like Marc’s decision to help Wrecker, i think it’s a very reluctant yet noble decision that feels right for the character. I enjoyed Layla in the MCU show, but her in the comics feels very shoe-horned in. Feels like the type of MCU synergy that is hard to get behind.

Cute little issue about Marc’s birthday, I’m assuming celebrating 50 years since his debut. Great to see his daughter again. Happy to see the Midnight Mission brought back.

Very Moon Knight of him to insist of testing the cure on himself. Love the battle inside his mind with past villains. I’ll take any crumbs of Zodiac that i can get.

Unbelievably cool. Marc’s using his own claimed soul as bait to draw Khonshu to fight the dragon spirit of a sword? So metal. Then claiming said sword afterward because “A knight requires a sword”. I love you Jed MacKay and I love you Moon Knight

This issue is hilarious. 8-ball and the pool party is so much fun. The heart-to-heart between Tigra & Hank and Marc & Hank are both phenomenal as well. Love how Marc’s regrets of a father and mental health issues correlate to Hank.

I was initially worried about Cappuccio leaving these Moon Knight runs, but the art has still been very on point and gorgeous. I am thrilled still having Khonshu back in the mix so we can have conversations like the one in this issue.

So tuff. I love Moon Knight at his most broken. Talking with Jake and Steven while brutally killing monsters because of the shame he feels for putting his friends in danger. I am so stoked to see him pound Fairchild’s face to pulp in the ring.

Sad to see the midnight mission go, the art done by Dominco Carbone in this issue is phenomenal. I didn’t expect the glitter drug to be such a longstanding issue.

The glitter story is picking up some more, looking forward to seeing where it leads. Didn’t see the Hank Pym being alive thing coming, but i also haven’t read Avengers Inc, I hope it doesn’t complicate things between Marc and Tigra because I really love them together.

Good introduction, Mr.Knight busting heads letting Fairchild know he’s coming and that he cane because he likes his enemies to know he’s coming. Also getting glazed by cops about how the best course of action is just to get out of Moon Knight’s way because he is like a hurricane. Love it

Oh it’s so good, everyone having their reunion with Moon Knight was so perfect. Hugged Reese, was proud of 8-ball, insisted on continuing his therapy although it’s no longer mandatory, and is speaking with Khonshu. I don’t know much about the Blood Hunt event but this does make me wanna check it out. Blade being possessed by the first vampire seems interesting.

Holy peak. The return of Khonshu and Moon Knight in the same issue. I love the Marc and Tigra relationship I hope they keep them together. Grateful they freed Khonshu because I love seeing him drawn, and him being freed gives more reasons to draw him.

I’m honestly not super familiar with this event that is occurring during this issue, and I don’t find it super interesting, but this is still a fun read. I like the character moments they find for Reese and Soldier. I love their dedication to be like Moon Knight.

Actually insane work making me care and relate to such a goofy character like 8-ball. I don’t think his session quite lines up to how great the others were, but it’s still very good. Moon Knight convinced him that he could be a better man, but he’s still afraid. I love how goofy he is “I’m calling my shot. 8-ball, corner pocket!”

Love this storytelling of exploring each members different method of grief. The guilt that Soldier feels and the way he has stepped up to do what he thinks Moon Knight would have wanted. I also love his analogy of the Midnight Mission being a gang.

Imposter Moon Knight seems to be a very interesting character, I am looking forward to seeings more. I hope each issue has a member of the midnight mission in a session with Dr. Sterman. Such a fascinating method of exploring grief with each of these characters.

Moon Knight’s funeral was very well done. I love that the Midnight Mission contacts Ben Grimm to help orchestrate a shiva for Marc. I also love that even though Marc assumed everyone hated him, many heroes came to mourn. It almost makes a part of me wish that he stays dead, but I already know he returns

These issues are a fun setup for Moon Knight, but until they become fleshed out they feel a little generic. I think the superpowers from the werewolf bite are an interesting concept, but ultimately glad they have been forgotten. It’s fascinating to see Moon Knight before any relation to Khonshu. The checkerboard fight with Conquer Lord won me over to liking his role as generic goofy villain.

The spotlight issue introduces Steven Grant and Jake Lockley into the mix, but at this point they are just alter egos for Marc. He also has powers based on the moon, after saliva from WBN gives him werewolf strength. Conquer Lord is so goofy and not super interesting. I think Marc’s snark is unexpectedly funny, and almost makes me wish he had a little more if it in current day runs.

He got his bread.

Moon Knight captures Jack Russell and secured his $10k bag. But he’s not a totally shitty guy so he releases the beast on the fat cats who wanna use the werewolf to commit ‘business murders?’.

Werewolf by Night 32

I believe I read this ages ago, but I just picked up the Moon Knight Omnibus and thoroughly enjoyed this issue. It’s interesting to see the beginnings of the character of Moon Knight especially since I know how he evolves. His conception being just some solider handed a silver suit so he can hunt a werewolf for bread is very detached from what he becomes.

They have done an impeccable job making Bane into a monstrous seemingly unstoppable villain that I can’t even envision a way that Bruce can beat him. What Bane does to Harvey, Ozzie, and Eddie is difficult to see, but what he does to Ozzie especially is horrific. I was curious how they’d turn him from a normal looking dude into The Penguin, but i absolutely did not see that coming.

Absolutely one of my favorites issues in this run. The attempts at breaking Bruce down and he constant innovation and tactics to fight back is written so perfectly. Bane is such an asshole, and I feel so bad for Martha.

Love the color, it’s so gorgeous to look at. I love the design for Mr Freeze, he looks so damn creepy it’s great. The interpretation of what it’s like being cryogenically frozen is also horrifying, i love it.
