Part 2 of this book offers an interesting comparison between the immortal beings of Tolkien’s Elves and the Celtic Tuatha De Danann. Perfect beings that cannot survive in the mortal world. They can only remain at the cost of the loss of their powers.

Entering Phase: Open Hostilities. Another DCC I cannot put down.

Through part 1. This picked up really quick after a confusing world-building first couple of chapters. I can absolutely see how this grips readers and has skyrocketed on the charts. Excited for the journey.
