Currently on Chapter 32- Jag has linked up with Colombian Cartel, they owe him a favour. Still uncertain what he is up to but I anticipate he wants to eliminate those who killed Dove and his family and whom are still after them. Since Dove is semi-safe with Wolfson and his family.

But I am not in the mood to continue this crawl. Even though the story could be potentially picking up.

Chapter 30- I want to love this book. I want to respect and be sensitive to trauma victims.
I guess my expectations for this book was survival in society, rather than survival in the Arctic. But I want more adventure, more high stakes and more romance.
I’m insensitive and finding this to be crawling along…

Henry Kramer voice for Wolfson is not right. He is supposed to by 24, not 40.

Currently on chapter 17 and feel like the story is crawling. Heavy trauma tracking and building character development and connections.

Love the family banter- Nonna and Mumma.
Love the tension.

I want to like this so much.
But the bickering that’s like a sibling rivalry with no one explaining why they may be like the way they are… it just feels frustrating and immature.

Irritating. Petro is still calling Alexis “spoiled bratt”. The immature dialogue is getting irritating. I just want a trusting romantic relationship to start but don’t think it’s going to happen. Still lots of character development to go through.

What am I missing here?
I feel like we are missing serious contextual information- character development and world information. I feel like we barely know what’s going on and the story jumps into “need her want her” lust… It’s going straight for the home run with no action on 1st or 2nd base…..scenes are missing contextual information…. Hmmm
