Omg omg omg!!! All I can say is yall, it’s getting real juicy in this book omg😭 Wilde has broken into someone’s house (not the first time) to try and figure out what happened to his cousin and has found a dead body WTF?! I didnt start chapter 14 yet so idk if its one or many but he seen some blood. I should fr stop reading this before bed lol!

Omg not Wilde and Laila SEXING?!?! I’m bleeeewwww no waaay! I mean I could’ve figured, however I always thought it was kinda weird how a couple will be friends with someone, and once one of them dies the friend and the widow get together. That’s kinda messy right? Or I’m dtm because his bestfriend been dead for at least a decade I think. Idk, still weird though.

I love how fast everything is moving but slow at the same time, it literally only gives you just enough information to egg you on and give you an idea of what could happen, but everything is still so hush hush with everyone. I like how weird the MC Wilde is too, pretty intriguing.

I started this book years ago and just never finished because I am one of the slowest readers known to man, HOWEVER I do really enjoy this book because I remember all of what I have read up until now even though I haven’t touched the book in a year or two. Definitely keeps you guessing as they only give you bits and pieces of the whole story that seems to be falling apart.

Millie is the best part of this book foreal because how she see that Jack weird af in two second and it took Grace a whole year and a half💀💀💀💀

I almost got excited with thinking it was Esther who hide the message in the book, she almost got me there lol! I feel like the first half of this book is extremely hard to get through. I hate how she keeps going to the past and feel as if we can just stay in the present for the remainder of the book, but I digress.

She referred to herself as intelligent, very laughable.

On my life I will never read this book again. I am genuinely so pissed off with the MC like she is genuinely stupid. A very stupid woman. I don’t understand how you had the opportunity to literally leave and never come back JUST FOR YOU TO GO BACK TO THE ROOM AND SHOWER?! Idk I just feel like she not taking anything seriously because why would you shower in a situation you may or may not die in.

I’m curious to see how her friends, if that’s what you can call them, will go about her relationship. Will they notice the small details and read between the lines? Or continue to letters it slip past them? Idk. Feel bad for the MC but then again, discernment is key.

Don’t you love when someone sees all the red flags and continues to ignore them?

This book is so boring lol it is taking me SOOOO long to finish this book.

Only 3 chapters in and she needed for this to happen to her because there is no way you let a man convince you to quit your well paying job that has traveling perks so you can stay at home and be a slave? Like girl bye omg💀💀💀
