I'm team Maxon, I just feel like he really does love her and would let her be herself

Honestly its a little frustrating to see her be so jealous when she knows that if she asked he would be ready to marry her in a second. I understand that she's known Aspen long before the series started so she sees the best in him, but from what is told, Maxon is clearly the better option and treats her better than Aspen has so far

Genuinely this was really good, once I started it was impossible to put down!!

I feel like it did get better after the reveal at 75%, once everything was out in the open there was more found family moments which I think are the best parts of this series overall!

I can't believe it's over, oh my god...I wish there was more time though!!

I'm torn on my rating since I really hate Eve

I have only the Epilogue/One Year Later left and I think I'm going to reread the first few chapters before Eve showed up because I want more of my found family!!

Also this chapter alone nearly made me want to rate it 5-Stars!! I love this found family so so much, despite when Eve was present in the found family moments (I'm sorry but I can't stand her especially since I guessed from the start that she was in on it)!

She is so fricking intelligent and I can't think of any other character being quite as chaotic while being calm under this amount of desperation! I would both live/die for her!! ♡

Chapter 76: I'm starting to love this book again!!

Lmao I love the brothers tackling Nash and Avery's plan, it's chaotic but funny and it goes back to feeling like the found family we had in the second book again!!

Up until now, ever since Eve got here it has felt far too isolating in Avery's perspective (especially with Grayson and even a little with Jameson). So it's nice seeing these moments

Chapter 67: FINALLY!

Finally Grey does something that the Grey from book 1 and 2 would do!

Genuinely, I still don't trust him anymore.... Honestly I think if it wasn't over 70% there would be something I could trust, but I'm too frustrated at this point. I love his character arc, but it feels as though it's been dragging itself out.

I'm glad he didn't give the drive over at least but wow...I think I hate him atp.

Chapter 64:

You can't make someone believe that you love them if they don't love themselves first. They will deny it over and over again, all you can do is give them time to sort it out.

Chapter 65:

Also that's gross of an adult to do to a 16yo, "boys will be boys" is such a disgusting and negligent phrase.

Yeah, I wish Grey would just listen to them... I understand he is dealing with grief but she isn't Emily. I hate that Emily is haunting the narrative even now, as well as how Grey lets himself be manipulated over and over.

Obviously it does feel very mean of Avery if Eve is innocent, but something is off with her stories... I've been feeling this way about her since the start

I love Avery & Jamie's relationship but it feels weird for him to suddenly change up when she needs someone in her corner. It's isolating honestly and I feel bad if Eve actually is it.

End of Chapter 14 - I'm glad they included Eve on this!

I'm interested in who it could be....??

I love the Jamie and Avery scenes together!! Also seeing Jamie and Grey confront each other but also get one another is nice to see, I like them as a duo and hope they can work through it!

So far I love all the romance and I hope that Grey can let himself move on from Emily eventually... It's really heartbreaking

Genuinely this was soo good!! I loved the main mystery in this book, this book took everything I loved about the found family and made it 10x times better!

Overall this was one of the best books I've read this year, I couldn't help wanting to know what happened next and was entertained by the found family moments! I can't wait to jump right into the third book!! ❤︎⁠

I feel like there is more to the story than he was angry.

Also I really dislike Grayson's father, it not your son's fault that you cheated back then.

This is the first book I've been able to really see through until the end ever since Destroy Me! Reading this was refreshing and gave me the romance I was missing. I'm glad the love triangle wasn't too overly done in this book since Aspen was mostly in mentions, though I'm wary of the next book.

Overall this was just such a fun read and really addictive, I'm excited so where it goes from here!!

Though I do understand her being torn between the two since Aspen was her first love and she knows more about him than I do, whereas I only know her relationship with Max since the beginning.

I do think they were both in the wrong

End of Chapter 20: Oh. My. God.

I knew Aspen would become a guard but I was guessing it might be in the second book instead. I don't like him at all, I'm curious what really happened though because I'm guessing the send off was mis-com. I'm unsure how I feel about Maxon, I get that the selection is made this way and she still is torn, but wow....kissing another girl just doesn't sit right.

So far, I'm addicted!!! ♡

I can't do this anymore, I'm sorry but it's starting to annoy me even describing the plot and my thoughts on this book to my friends.

I've been really sick for 2 weeks now and it had only been getting worse. Luckily yesterday and today I've been able to get out of bed without hurting as much. I did read a lot, but my timeline might be a bit off on when I finished or started certain things, for that I am very sorry. I will try to get in order everything as soon as I can!!
