Beginning of Chapter 4:

So...they just introduced a guy and based on how he is described, I'm guessing he is the stalker.....?

If he is, no problem, but they are being very obvious about it. I am mostly picturing Ian Somerhalder from the way he's describe and how "charming" Abby thinks of him. These feel like things Damon might say or do.

Mic-Chapter 3:

Honestly I am a bit tired at the moment, but the book is very fun so far and surprisingly cozy. I do wish we got more of their letters to one another as well as the months between, but I'm having a fun time and some of the lines are really well written when it comes to the emotions of each character.

End of Chapter 1:

Honestly I like what he is saying and how it is introduced, however it feels very instant the way he falls for her. And he doesn't even know her or has even talked to her, but he's saying things like "It was that moment I knew she was mine. And I was secretly hers, whether she liked it or not."

I like the writing and devotion but there was no buildup.... idk, I'm still reading and its fun ♡

We're so back!! I'm so excited to read the next book after that cliff-hanger. Honestly I do wish we picked up where we left off so the stakes were high but I think starting with the funeral helped show where her mind is at the present day

So I'm still team Fiane (Forde and Ariane) especially with how they interact, he just loves her so much! I love that we got to see more of Wake and Forde's development!! (∩˃ᴗ˂∩)✧

Chapter 25:

What the hell was that end......? **Currently rocking back n forth** everything went to hell before I even knew what was happening.....

If I had to wait to read the next book I might have just sat in my room staring at the wall. It's not the most well written but this was fun as hell and addictive. I'm glad I picked it up!

Chapter 26

I love Paige and Forde most, seeing them interact is hilarious

Also I feel bad for Arie, having to go to school all while trying to figure out how to stop a war, figuring out the supernatural, lying to so many people, reading so many books, possibly being supernatural yourself, trying to run from wolves almost every night, and having your first relationship be a werewolf that may or may not be your mate.

Chapter 23

I'm glad that she stood up to Orion and is communicating, I understand where he is coming from but she BARELY knows him. Sure, they are cute. But it is understandable how she feels this is moving too fast, I think he means what he says, but it IS too fast.

Also kind of wondering....are they actually meant to be or do they just think so? I'm guessing they are, but would be interesting if they weren't.

I feel like it's reasonable to let her at least take it all in, like I get why she likes him but I get even more why it is such a struggle taking in the war and everything when she just found out about the supernatural

I like that she wants something more than just their attraction as proof that they might end up together, also I like how she's communicating with him despite how chaotic her thoughts are

I just met Forde!!!!!!

I've been in the mood for an early 2000s paranormal shifter romance so I decided to pick this up!!

Honestly it is really interesting so far, I like that she's questioning the "love at first sight" trope when it comes to mates. She likes him, but is still questioning it since they just met. Also I like how realistic this feels as well as intriguing, I'm wondering who the author is to everyone and how she knows things

I loved this chapter, it fills in so many blanks. The way everything was written was so well-done. I am rooting for them, but I hope that he starts to open up even more in present timeline. I'm glad that it was acknowledged and handled with care, the last past chapter I read of them was so fricking cute!! I love how we see them being friends with feelings, but I'm glad she stood up for herself too

I'm so excited!!!

I'm not far into this book, but it's pretty interesting so far. I love the show and it's definitely a bit different from the show, but it's still really intriguing, the setting as well as small things are different like the way they introduce the characters. Also we get third-person as well as multi-pov which I'm thinking might play into the unreliable narrator a bit.

I'm currently rooting for the con-artist and Kei-kun, though I'm worried they all might not be who they say they are. The chemistry between them all is so so cute though! And I love the main character (Mia) she is so cute and so far the story is really fun!! ❤︎⁠

Also I'm guessing Paul is gonna be a possible person Conner might get jealous of..? Like what Avery is to Maya. I'm mixed, on one hand they are cute (Maya & Conner), on the other I'm hoping she moves on because of the way he treats her. I'm hoping we have more of Conner showing us rather than side-characters telling us he cares.

I know because he's the love interest but idk

I've paused this just for today and yesterday so I can wait for my friend to start this, we're planning on doing a buddy read because I'm enjoying this so much!!

I don't think it's her anger issues that are the problem, if my best friend did that I would never speak to them again and it's VERY valid that she is mad. Also I'm kind of loving her interactions with Avery and Conner!

Currently reading Chapter 12 and I genuinely love when they talk, also Maya is an amazing character to follow!!

I don't like how he infantilizes her at times, like she is in her 20s not a teenager??? I realize he's doing it because of the age gap and doesn't want to get too close but it's also annoying to me reading this.

I like how kind she is to others even when she is jealous.
