I ended up listening on audio and heard great things about it. It was ok. I enjoyed the different readers and made it fun to listen to. I thought I would like it more than I did.

I have a new hero, Louis Zamperini. Incredible, unbelievable, shocking, heartbreaking, devastating, unreal and in the end there was faith and hope. I still can’t believe that this was true and he lives to tell his story. Hard for me to finish this book ( on audio) but out of respect for Louis I made myself finish the book. A true hero and can’t stop thinking of all the POW’s during this time. A must read!

I love this book! You laugh, cry and laugh again!

Wow! This took me a long time to read. Felt like a marathon with all the history. If you love history this book is for you! Larson had so much detail to add it was amazing he was able to do all the reaearch and put it together. Im giving it a 5 star for that very reason.
