I love John Marrs domestic thrillers but this one was a huge letdown for me. Too predictable and got boring really fast. I won’t give this a star rating as it would be extremely low and I hate doing those.

Love this book, but gosh I hate the guy. And I don’t even know his real name yet. 5/5. Perfect Lisa Jewell novel. I wish there were more of them.

Re-reading this one because of some reviews I currently saw and I really like the plot.
It was a DNF first time around

This book has me moaning and screaming out loud. In a good way. It’s very thought provoking and will stay with me for a while.

Love this book, I’m sure I’m gonna enjoy more the second time around.

His one is worth a second time around.

I knew this would be a hard read for me.I usually do not read reviews, I judge books by their cover and recommendations from people who know me. That being said, I was warned that this book might have some triggers for me since I am the mother of a beautiful trans daughter who will always be 18 years old. I’m not sure what I‘m trying to get out of this story ,but this book gives me belonging & being heard.

Extremely disturbing so far but that’s what I was looking for. This book won’t be for everybody.

Y’all, I’m dragging. I gave myself a week’s worth of leave to read something else but I’m having a hard time getting back into it. It’s a great story, but it might take me 47 weeks to finish.

This is going to be another very slow read just like The Covenant Of Water but I know it’s going to be worth it again. Probably going to finish The Paris Daughter before I finish this one. 5/5 so far, tho

What a wild ride! I started yesterday and couldn’t put it down all night and now I don’t want it to end.

It’s still tedious. I’ll be happy to have this finished by tomorrow but it’s still a rather unremarkably story. Did I mention it was tedious?

I’m not loving this so far. Maybe Ann Pachett and I just can’t be friends. Is it worth pulling through?
