I'm finding myself bored. I'll still finish it, probably, but I probably won't read book 2 (I'm only reading this because I liked book 3-- which I didn't know was a part of a series). The slow burn went too slowly IMO and I think softball season ended pretty late.

Look, I like the story and all but Matty cannot be six in second grade and as precocious as he is. I'm taken out nearly every time his age is mentioned. Two years is different than two school years. Yes, I'm pedantic, but ugh, I hate being taken out of a story to do math.

This is literally Roy Kent fanfic (for lack of a better term) and I'm here for it!!! This is super adorable.

Loving the book but scoffing at least once a chapter is gonna drive me batty (listening to audio so it's more noticeable). And yes, you can scoff at my annoyance.

So far it's beautifully written and powerful but once again I have an overdue book I just can't finish right now🤷‍♀️

Love this so much so far. Unfortunately got it via Overdrive while on vacation and can't finish before it will disappear from my account tomorrow and I'll be waitlisted again, alas. Stopping at Becoming More section.

this is a good book but having a hard time focusing (pregnancy brain) so returning to library for now but definitely want to come back to it.

I have not had the time or mental energy to give this book the attention it deserves (on loan from library) so I'm making a note of where I'm at for when I am ready.

so right now the girl is locked in a library and upset she can't find a cell phone.... is her library so inaccessible there's no landline or payphone? I know, that wouldn't be much of a story and only on chapter 8 but.... c'mon.

this series!!!!... I keep thinking the book has got to be close to finished (reading on my Kindle app, I bought a bundle, I can't actually tell). And I'm only on part 7 out of 12? with multiple (fine, two) epilogues??
it's much better than book five but Gabaldon ... c'mon.

chapter 27 on audiobook

reading as a serial read from Barnes and Noble; 2 chapters a day for a month.

read to page 102 in one morning and haven't picked it up since... this may or may not get finished at a later date.

I do not know if I'll finish this one before the library wants it back. Claire and Jamie's day-to-day life is not nearly as exciting as Gabaldon thinks it is. I'm reading this with a friend and we're both slogging through. From the looks of reviews, it may not get any better, but I hate skipping books in series... so we'll see.
