Intriguingly different society and environment portrayed in this book. I think it will eventually be a science-fantasy love story though!

This was a good read indeed! The description of the coastal village up the coast from New York was so vivid I felt as if I had visited, all those years ago. I looked it up on Google Earth and then read about the district on Wikipedia and other internet spots. The story changed emphasis and location midway through the book, which put me off for a while, but soon the narrative drew me back. Excellent read- engrossing!

Good book- it mentions Adelaide, SOuth Australia as the best place in the SOuthern Hemisphere for training as a winemaker.

Great end to the series- wish the author was arou d to write more of Lisbeth's life! What a character!
