I’ve read 35 chapters and I haven’t been bored by a single one. Finishing Fourth Wing tomorrow and immediately going to Iron Flame. I feel like I’m in a video game and I’m approaching the final boss.

Read 4 chapters today. Most of chapter 30 was filled with smut but this book does a great job at not making that smut feel overbearing. Tairn is an incredibly awesome dragon and Violet getting her lightning wielding power is fantastic.

165 pages from finishing. I’ve read through 26 chapters and I haven’t felt bored by a single one. During Squad Battle, the crew sneaks down to a general’s office to get an updated war map (very risky), and they end up arriving at Montserrat. I can sense that action is about to take place in the coming chapters and I’m ready for more to unfold.

Chapter 22 on Monday! More eventful reading today! I love Andarna, such a beautiful dragon for saving Violet from unbonded attackers in her sleep. Dain is a traitor, defending and covering up Amber Mavis’s actions that led to her being scorched and selling out Violet who called him a best friend. I also enjoy the dialogue between the dragons and riders. Fourth Wing has a great way of connecting the story together.

Starting on chapter 17 Sunday. Today I read through Presentation, Violet gets to keep Andarna and Tairn, Violet gets over Dain who turns out to be a betrayer. The dialogue is excellent and I love the exchanging of words between Xaden and Dain at the end of chapter 16. This experience manages to get better and better.

Starting on chapter 5 Friday. This book is absolutely intense and I’m only 4 chapters in. These pages are lengthy to read through, great dialogue and detail! Definitely gonna be a series where I’ll take my time reading through.

Starting The Empyrean Series today!

Yesterday’s reading was so many emotions and things taking place. But we’re finishing this book this morning!

Did some good reading today. Read chapters 13-19, starting on chapter 20 tomorrow. The moments in these pages have been risky, eventful and the dad is continuously testing my patience. The more I read, the more I dislike his narcissism, manipulation tactics. Today’s reading was engaging and I feel that the rest will be even more interesting.

Determined to finish this book this week. Today I’ll reach the halfway point.

Some good reading today. Just as I thought The Nightingale had great character development, I can say the same for The Great Alone. The dad is starting to get antagonistic but there’s a beautiful mother-daughter bond in the story so far. I got a feeling I can predict what happens next but I’m overall enjoying.

Read 65 pages and 4 chapters in 2 and a half hours. Longer chapters but great detail here to make it engaging. This book tells the story of a dad coming home from war, eventually for the family to move to Alaska to live off-grid. This book embraces unknown, uncertainty and requires survival. Kristin Hannah has a writing style that puts readers on the edge of their seats and I’m already enjoying this.

Read 3 chapters, 45 pages this morning. More to read in the afternoon. Some stories early on slipped from memory but when David Lee Roth and Michael Anthony enter the story, this book becomes more interesting. Where I’m at in the book, Van Halen releases their monstrous debut album and they hit big around the world, touring with big bands such as Black Sabbath and The Rolling Stones.
