Wow. I did not expect this story to be a slog to get through. The concepts are great, but I'm not connecting to the characters like I thought I would be. I keep going but it's still not so satisfying... I don't quite understand why.

Got through the first 2 chapters or so... I could see why this would be funny and totally for little boys. It was over the top and something I'd probably find more interesting watching as a cartoon than reading as an adult... Maybe I'll get around to finishing this when my boy is old enough to read it...

What an amazing story! I haven't read a story that truly inspires my imagination so thoroughly as this has in a LONG time. This is the kind of SF that excites me. Sigh.

Not sure I'm going to finish this. I don't know why, but it's not as interesting as I thought it would be. Perhaps the narrators are ruining it for me. I don't know. The characters just aren't capturing my attention....hmmm..

I think I’m going to shelve this book for another time. I’ve been on a total Sanderson binge lately and am a bit disappointed with the start of this novel. I’m bored... totally unexpected.

I always enjoy reading and listening to this book.
