I knew something like this was gonna happen, this book is far from sunshine and rainbows but to actually read it, the characters are so well written and you feel so connected that when it comes to it you feel every emotion they feel

Up to this point it’s non stop nail biting, what will happen seems unknown and uncertain, the inner turmoil within Vin and Elend is deep and amazing, will they save the city, will they find the person they’re looking for, will it even be their city? I can’t wait to find out

Loving the start of this book so far, the book continues almost seamlessly, the first couple chapters while continuing the story recap certain elements of the first book such as how this worlds magic system works and a brief recap of the first book, even taking place only a year after the end of the first one the characters have grown so much

I’m entirely captivated by the grittiness of the world, the world building and lore is immense and deep, I’m thoroughly enjoying the characters and the vast personalities of each individual characters. The seriousness of the story is heavy, however some characters bring a lightness and show even in what seems like a hopeless world there is still hope and a light at the end
