A lot of "telling" instead if showing, but the characters are always fun to listen to

It's good but you can tell the main character (who is a woman) was written by a man lol. There's nothing inherently wrong with that but it is a little funny

I like the way Don adds casual personification to the forest life. It creates an interesting visual without being too on-the-nose with it like some other authors may write.
