also curious about the first name change that i just caught. unsure if it's intentional and part of the plot or if something that happened in haste to move through the story.

took a few days off, picked it back up and immediately was exhausted by this dude's extensive writing describing the look of a hat. it's okay to let folks use their own imagination. idk that i'll DNF this but i have got to walk away right now.

can't wait to go back to horror

i almost DNF'd this somewhere between 21 and 37% of the book and i didn't bc i'm not a quitter (lie). i'm glad i've continued trudging along.
