I have so many questions!!! What happened outside?!? Why is everything hot and empty! They were talking like their mother was still alive despite her being dead! Why were they preparing for the end times like how did they know it was coming? Why did the mother see things?!? Lily is so out of it like she’s still a child.

Wait the summary says the boy is in the ice box if I remember correctly. The women don’t know how to preserve meat… there’s limited meat… is he gonna like eat it all?!

It’s too cute and it keeps making me cry 😭

Real exciting. But a lot of the things felt flat. The side characters, the romance, the setting. All of it flat.

This author never heard of show don’t tell. Only one sentence of this book has given me an emotion so far I cri. Interesting read though.

This Mc is insufferable

This book really f me up. I'm here rooting for Felicia and her goal to bring back the creator, i'm here cursing Collin for growing but not actually putting anything he learned into practice, i'm here hating that Bliss is getting closer to Arik cuz i think her and Ty would be much cuter!!! All of this to say that i think the author did a great job. I'm def reading the next one cuz this gave me inspiration & motivation

omfg Collin is so stupid!!!! mentally, he was ready, but he should've realized it's a death wish to go in that condition! couldn't sleep one day longer?! ik why but still! also omfg, Ethan better not be dead! And then Felicia, omg I don't think you can get supporters by throwing a tantrum!!! makes ur religion look like shit!

Omfg the suspense! The more I read the more I like the story!!!! The beginning writing was a bit iffy but the further u get in the more fun it gets!

I have got to keep count of the ever growing character list. It feels like 20 characters have been introduced by now. I really love the distinguishing smell training scenes. Hansel’s anxiety has been well written for them plus it’s kinda funny.

Oh man how many times are they going to explain hydras and meta hydras?!? This feels like the last time but omg it was like what 3-4 times in the span of a hundred pages? Like I don’t think we’re going to forget!
Really like how the lore/info is being added in these chapters tho. The first and second chapters totally feel clunky in comparison.
On another note omfg there’s so many characters.

Enjoying the storyline and characters. Especially our Mc. Seeing him be such an adorable fanboy is so cute I wonder when he’ll break.
Also OMFG THIS IS THE FOURTH TIME HYDRAS/METAHYDRAS ARE EXPLAINED ITS BECOMING A GAG AT THIS POINT sad thing is the books so serious about it ;-;

Omfg I should’ve read the summary again before starting cuz I completely forgot Hansel the mc of the book. BRO WHY IS HE INTRODUCED IN THE THIRD CHAPTER?!? WHO INTRODUCES THE MC OF THE STORY IN THE THIRD CHAPTER OF THE STORY?!?

Anyway enjoying the story a lot. The writing could use some work there’s quite a few errors in the first 100 pages.

The action scenes so far are fast paced but slow at the same time. I realized why! There’s a lot of telling going on and not a lot of showing. Idk if showing would help it but telling less definitely will! Every action is described in a fight scene.

Other than that I’m enjoying the story. Especially the dialogues I think they flow nicely. After the first 30 pages the writing flows much better.

Easy to read so far but there are some minor errors within the writing (Some extra words or letters). The info dumping felt a little out of place on page 11, but I like how it was done with the speech in some later pages.

What a beautifully bittersweet ending

It’s sad seeing how Dev slowly loses his confidence with his memories. Especially since it happens even before he’s sent away and filled with drugs.

A real slow read. That first page was a struggle to get through. It’s so descriptive to the point of “what are you even talking about?”. The rest so far is enjoyable.
